Spencer,

The FCC has an info page on filing comments here: http://www.fcc.gov/ownership/comments.html

Though we've tried to make it easier -- for those on the right, left and everywhere in between -- here: http://www.stopbigmedia.com/=act

Though the most important action to take today is contacting Congress. Pressure from Capitol Hill is the best way to stop Kevin Martin's massive giveaway. Urge your senators to support the bipartisan Media Ownership Act of 2007: http://action.freepress.net/campaign/ownership

I'm a little confused about our situation in Dallas. How can Belo own both the Dallas Morning News and the local station WFAA? That's cross ownership, correct?

In 2003, I went to right-wing sites and left an FCC link for them to publicly comment on this issue; the result was a bipartisan success.

Of course, the FCC has scrambled and moved the link around so that the general public could barely find it, but I think this is the one.

I propose again to send the following link to the NRA and other sites like it; this is a bipartisan battle and the December 11 deadline is right around the corner.

Please send me an email (spencer_adams@hotmail.com), verifying this link and tell me what you think about my proposal.

We need all the help we can get right now.
